These Pants will return to North Dakota

The historic "Fancy Italian Leprechaun" brush busting pants have reappeared. They will see the fields of North Dakota again. Oh yes they will.

NOLA - Rematch

After the ridiculous fishing I experienced on my previous trip it was pretty easy to sign Phil up for a rematch. The conditions on this trip were tough, constant winds, poor water clarity and no sun. Cpt. Greg Moon (recovering from the flu and about 10lbs lighter than our previous trip) fished hard and put us on great numbers of fish. We fished super skinny and cast at many tails. When we found some semi protected waters the shots were quick and when everything came together the fish began to glow on flat. Phil scored a monster 60+lb Black Drum which bottomed out the Boga. Planning the next trip to NOLA and tying flies for the trip as we speak.

NOLA

"Sick Fishing" is the only way to describe it. Well, "Stupid Good" would suffice. This was my first trip to New Orleans for fishing and it lived up to everything I have heard about it. Fished 2 days between Cpt. Greg Moon and Cpt. Greg Dini out of New Orleans with my friend Casey. It was amazing. The first day we went out with Captain Moon. The weather sucked ass. The clouds were heavy and the rain threatened all around. Found a few smaller fish up super skinny with their tails and backs out of the water. A storm creeped up on us but we knew we were on fish because of all the blow outs beneath the boat. It rained on us for about 10 minutes and we blind cast. About the time we were wondering if the rain would stop the line came tight to an approximate 20lb red. My first Louisiana Red. After landing the red the skies cleared and heaven lit up the flats and we were able to experience some of the most awesome fly fishing for redfish the world has to offer.

Classic Hornady Ammo Boxes

There is something about the classic ammo boxes. They belong in frames.
