Cedar Waxwings

The Cedar Waxwings arrived. They will probably only be here for a day or two but they are something to watch when they arrive. They swarm the junipers and fill the air with their soft high-pitched trill "brezee zee" call. In the third picture there is a squirrel wondering who these birds are. He looks scared.

  1. Can you provide info. on viewing the Waxwings in the Coastal Bend of Texas. When and where is the best time and area?

  2. I am seeing Waxwings now but I am miles away from the Coastal Bend. In North Texas we get them several times, usually here for a week or so and then they are off. It is always exciting to hear their call and enjoy them for the short time they are here.
